The Nkambeni Safari Camp Villa at this retreat was a fantastic experience. Situated just inside the first gate of the Kruger Park, it offers convenient access to the park and nearby towns. the rooms were comfortable and as described, albeit a bit basic. the on-site restaurant served delicious food, and the pool area was a great place to relax. the staff, especially Noxolo, were warm and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay. the breakfast buffet provided a wide selection of tasty options to start the day. I highly recommend staying here for a peaceful and enjoyable time. Cons: Nothing bad to say 👍.

We had the most amazing stay at Nkambeni Safari Camp. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The location was perfect, with breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. Our tent was comfortable and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a cozy stay. The highlight of our trip was the full day game drive organized by the camp. We saw an abundance of wildlife and the opportunity to stop for bird-watching and photography was a dream come true. The camp itself was quiet and spacious, allowing us to relax and unwind. The communal Braai area was a great addition, providing a fantastic space for group meals. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that our needs were met throughout our stay. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as limited staff during meal times and the distance of the rooms from the parking area, we had an unforgettable experience at Nkambeni Safari Camp. I highly recommend this hotel for a restful and enjoyable stay just outside Kruger NP.

The staff were super rad and hooked us up with the sickest African Safari Experience ever! We went on these sick open-sided 4x4 game drives and saw so many wild animals, it was like being in an action movie! We even did these cool night drives and Big 5 walks, feeling like total badasses in the African bush. And dude, they could arrange all these sick African entertainments, like traditional dancers and marimbas, just for us! Plus, they told us about a local golf course nearby. Nkambeni Safari Camp totally knows how to show you a good time!
The only thing that would have made our stay even more radical would be if they had some sick parties for young people, you know? Like, imagine dancing under the stars in the African bush, with awesome beats and a wild crowd.

The tented suite at Nkambeni Safari Camp was absolutely amazing! I felt like I was truly immersed in the African wilderness, with my own private deck and incredible views of the bush right from my room. It was such a unique and memorable experience. I loved the ensuite shower in the tented suite. It was so refreshing to take a shower while enjoying the sights and sounds of nature around me. It was like having my own personal spa in the middle of the African bush. The outdoor deck area attached to the suite was perfect for enjoying my morning coffee or having a relaxing evening under the stars. The views were breathtaking and it was the ideal spot to soak in the beauty of the surroundings.
Personally, I found the outdoor shower a bit too exposed for my liking. While it was an exciting and unique experience, I would have preferred a little more privacy.

I absolutely loved the beautiful African decor throughout the lodge. The traditional designs and vibrant colors made me feel like I was truly immersed in the African wilderness. The common areas, such as the bar and dining area, were also easily accessible for seniors like myself.
I would have appreciated if the children working there could have provided some assistance or guidance specifically tailored for senior guests.

The camp's location was absolutely jaw-dropping, with stunning views of a waterhole filled with playful hippos. The staff were super friendly and helpful, even surprising me with mosquito spray when I forgot mine. The food was mind-blowingly delicious, from the lovely dinner to the lovely breakfast. The optional shower inside and the pool area with its view of the hippo family were both fantastic. The staff went all out to make my partner's birthday special with a romantic turndown. Thank you to the friendly staff for making our stay unforgettable!

We had excellent value for our money at Nkambeni Safari Camp. The room, although not overly fancy, was comfortable, with a fantastic bed and a lifesaver aircon for the scorching temperatures. The location was perfect, just a short drive from the Kruger Park entrance. The staff treated us like royalty, always going above and beyond to assist us and providing service with a smile. The food was absolutely amazing, with a proud chef who paid attention to visitor feedback. We loved being able to see hippos from the camp, and the kids enjoyed walking around by the pool while we could keep an eye on them from the bar & restaurant.
The only suggestion I have for breakfast is to extend the serving time until at least 10 am.

Nestled in the heart of the Kruger Park, this hidden gem offers a perfect location for families looking for a unique safari getaway. The comfortable beds and spacious en-suite bathrooms provide a cozy retreat after a thrilling day of game drives. The friendly staff go above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay, while the mouthwatering breakfast spread offers a variety of fresh and delicious options. With breathtaking views of the watering hole, guests can witness the mesmerizing interactions between resident wildlife. The lodge also offers guided game drives for an immersive safari experience.
The lack of clear directions and GPS accessibility can lead to frustrating experiences when trying to locate the campsite.

The accommodation was comfortable and spacious, with a unique choice of showers. The location of the hotel allowed for spectacular drives to nearby attractions such as the Panorama Route and God's Window. the full day game drive organized by the camp provided ample opportunity for wildlife sightings and great photo opportunities.
There were a few issues during my stay. the game drive experience was not as impressive, possibly due to a less knowledgeable ranger.
